This is an independent private reference site, not a government office. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, performs official checks, or files documents for a visitor.
Its purpose is to identify the Connecticut agencies responsible for Middlesex County records, including the police agency that created a report, Connecticut Superior Court, DESPP's State Police Bureau of Identification, and the Connecticut Sex Offender Registry, while also linking to optional outside research tools. Agency disclosure is controlled by the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act, Chapter 14, §§ 1-200 through 1-242, and other applicable confidentiality and erasure laws.

This restriction is especially important for Connecticut Sex Offender Registry data governed by Chapter 969. Registry information supports lawful public-safety awareness and does not authorize vigilantism or discriminatory action.

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind.
