This Is Not a Government Office. This privately run reference site cannot retrieve or correct records, perform official checks, or receive Connecticut erasure filings. Contact the agency responsible for the record.
Need an Official Record?
Connecticut has no Middlesex County sheriff, county records division, or county jail. Use these official channels instead:
- Police and arrest reports: contact the municipal department or Connecticut State Police troop that created the report
- Court case files: Middlesex Judicial District clerk, 1 Court Street, Middletown, CT 06457-3374; 860-343-6400; criminal fax 860-343-6566
- State criminal-history reports: DESPP State Police Bureau of Identification, 1111 Country Club Road, Middletown, CT 06457; Criminal Records Unit 860-685-8480
- Fingerprint appointments: Connecticut State Police Headquarters at the Country Club Road address; fingerprint questions 860-685-8270
- Custody records: use the Connecticut Department of Correction Inmate Search and then contact the facility shown
- Erasure and Clean Slate matters: follow Connecticut Judicial Branch, Clean Slate, or Board of Pardons and Paroles procedures for the applicable remedy
The main local court counter is the Middlesex Judicial District clerk's office at 1 Court Street in Middletown. SPBI is a separate state office at 1111 Country Club Road, and non-fingerprint criminal-history requests are handled through its published request process rather than courthouse staff.
